I forget) There are lots of apps one can format a drive with though, most of which produce something windows refuses to see. That should produce a bootable ntfs partition unless certain boxes were checked (or left unchecked.
I formatted it with Windows 10's basic right-click format, unless that's not how it's done. I have also tried using it on my laptop and I get the same exact problem.
So to start, How did you format it? With what? (Most such things can be undone) After that gets exhausted or something is noticed, switch to seeing if there might be something wrong with the hardware. Gonna go with you’ve done something for now as it’s potentially cheaper. Is this a faulty USB drive or have I done something? It's like it just yeeted itself out of existence. I've tried updating the drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling the USB Mass Storage Device controller, scanning for hardware changes or try to configure it in the Disk Management but nothing is working. The Device Manager is recognizing the drive and says "it's working properly", my ass it is. I then recently tried to use it to put on some basic files after formatting it to get rid of the Pop OS file and it doesn't appear anywhere in the file explorer even after using something like Minitool Partition Wizard which only made it appear for a few moments only for it to be unusable and disappear again. Last year I bought a Kingston DataTraveler 100 G3 32GB and I used it to flash a BIOS for the Ryzen 3600 on an ASRock B450M Pro4, then the second time I used it was a few months ago to install the Pop OS distribution on one of my drives.
